Protect leather surfaces with Fiebing's Acrylic Resolene
Fiebing's Acrylic Resolene Finish is a thin, flexible, durable, water resistant acrylic top leather finish for smooth leathers, used for sealing the surface of dyed, antiqued, aged (patinated) or polished leathers.
This finish is well known as a surface finish of top-quality shoes or handbags.
Step by step use
Fiebing's Acrylic Resolene has to be applied (for a perfect result) in light coats. It is best applied with a damp sponge in circular motions to avoid streaks.
Allow the first coat to dry before applying the next one.
Do not apply too much Resolene each time, as you may experience bubbling which will pop and form rings once dry.
The result depends on the quantity applied
Resolene (neutral) will occasionally look blue when wet but will dry clear - so do not panic!
Depending on the amount applied, the result will be medium (matt) to high gloss finished.
What can I do when my leather rubs off?
Purchased leather items may sometimes rub off. You can stop rubbing off with Acrylic Resolene. You should however remove dirt and finishes first (with a finish remover) to make sure Resolene Finish adheres to the leather (we recommend PURE 100% Alc., Fiebing's Deglazer or ROC Gold Quality).

Sehr gut aber !
Ich finde das Produkt sehr gut, aber es hat mein mattes Leder glänzend gemacht…. Wie kann ich das Resolene entfernen ohne mein Leder zu beschädigen ?

Kompetente Beratung und tolles Produkt
Meine neue, wunderschöne Lederjacke hat leider stark abgefärbt - eigentlich ein Umtauschgrund, wenn ich sie nicht im Urlaub gekauft hätte (und sie ist ja auch so schön). Nach langer Recherche und Fehlversuchen mit anderen Produkten bin ich endlich hier gelandet. Herr Knoll hat mich per Mail auch am Wochenende schnell und kompetent beraten. Mit Pure das alte Finish beseitigt und dann mit Resolene neu versiegelt - wasserfest und sieht noch dazu edel aus. Juhu. Danke nach Berlin. Christian Prior

Von Blau zu einem super Ergebnis
Beim neutralen Resolene war ich erst komplett geschockt, weils wirklich bläulich wirkte. Ich habe nicht viel Erfahrung mit Versiegelungen und wusste nicht, dass es erst komplett trocknen muss. Als ich hier nachgelesen habe, dass das normal ist, habe ich einfach abgewartet und jetzt ist das Ergebnis einwandfrei. Super Schutzlackschicht!

Das beste Finish
Durch Youtube Videos bin ich auf dieses Finish aufmerksam geworden. Davor benutzte ich hauptsächlich Wachse. Welch ein Unterschied! Die Farben sehen viel leuchtender und brillianter aus und die Oberfläche wirkt einfach nur edel. Endlich ein Finish welches sehr wasserabweisend ist. Zehn Sterne für Acrylic Resolene Finish!!!

Für mich das beste Finish auf dem Markt! Die Oberfläche sieht sehr edel aus, es ist stark wasserabweisend und die Farbe kann nicht abfärben. Kann es jedem nur empfehlen!
