Jacquard Airbrush Clear Varnish: the protective shield for your airbrush designs
A painted helmet, a varnished sneaker, a prop made of plastic: on smooth, hard surfaces a design has to withstand a lot.
The Jacquard Airbrush Clear Varnish applies a clear, flexible protective layer over it.
This keeps your colours looking good for longer, even with contact and wear.
It is sprayed like airbrush paint and can be diluted with water if needed.

What do I need the clear varnish for?
On fabric, Jacquard Airbrush Color holds by itself after fixing. On smooth, hard surfaces such as metal, plastic, ceramic or the leather of sneakers, the clear varnish provides the necessary durability.
How to varnish
Spray the varnish onto the completely dried paint, in thin, even layers. You will find the steps in the “Instructions” tab.

Jacquard Airbrush Clear Varnish: Instructions
1. Let the airbrush paint dry completely.
2. Shake the varnish well. If necessary, dilute it with a little water.
3. Spray the varnish at approx. 2.8 bar (40 psi) and a nozzle size of at least 0.5 mm in a thin, even layer.
4. Let the layer dry and repeat the process if necessary.
5. For faster drying and an even more durable finish, you can carefully warm the surface with a heat gun on a low setting.
6. Clean the nozzle and tools immediately with water.

Can I use the varnish on fabric?
No, it is intended for smooth, non-porous surfaces. On fabric, you fix the colour with the iron.
Does the surface become glossy?
The varnish dries clear and gives a protective layer. It is best to try the effect beforehand on a test piece.
Does the varnish stay flexible?
Yes, which is why it is also popular for sneakers.

Das ist das beste Finish welches ich jemals genutzt habe. Es ist super-elastisch und schützt doe Farbe auf dem Schuh.
