Fiebing's water-based leather finish
'Institutional Leather Finish' / LeatherColor is a non-toxic, non-flammable water-based leather finish.
It protects and preserves the leather dye.
This leather finish has been formulated by Fiebing's especially for the non-hazardous use in schools, prisons and hospitals (for therapeutic purposes).
Even small children can now dye leather safely with the non-toxic Institutional Leather Dye and afterwards protect the leather with LeatherColor Finish.
A perfect application takes time
Allow the leather dye to dry completely (for at least 24 hours) before applying the finish.
Stir LeatherColor Finish several times before starting to work.
The finish is best applied with a sprayer (for instance the Airbrush or a PREVAL-sprayer). It can also be applied with a soft cloth, a finely pored sponge or a paint brush.
Do not rub too much on the freshly dyed leather.
Make sure not to use too much finish, in order to prevent it from running.
Allow each coat to dry for at least 24 hours.
Fiebing's LeatherColor Finish only comes in the colour 'neutral'.
When it is dry the finish looks a lot like Fiebing's Acrylic Resolene.

Sehr gut
Das Finish ist genau wie die LeatherColors "ungiftig" und ist trotzdem sehr gut. Ich kann keinen Unterschied zu Fiebings Acrylic Resolene feststellen.
Kann ich sehr empfehlen.

Gutes Finish
Wie bereits in der Artikelbeschreibung erwähnt, ist dieses Finish dem Acrylic Resolene optisch sehr ähnlich.
Das finde ich hervorragend, da ich keine Lösungsmitteldämpfe beim Arbeiten einatmen möchte.
Es ist sehr haltbar und es entsteht eine sehr schöne Oberfläche.
