USMC Black is a special formulation made by Fiebing for the US Marine Corps and is the deepest and blackest black on the leather dye market.
Fiebing's Leather Dye is the most recognized penetrating, alcohol-based leather dye in the world. It is a very high quality dye and professionals say, it is the very best leather dye.
Deeply penetrating dye for the darkest black
To dye greater surfaces, using a sponge or the Airbrush is best. The slower the dye is applied, the more is used, the deeper it penetrates and the darker the result.
You can easily mix the USMC Leather Dye with Fiebing's Leather Dye to create interesting middle tones.

How much leather dye do I need?
We can't answer that question 100% as we do not know your shoes, boots, saddles, jackets, bags etc. and do not know how dye hungry your leather is either. Different leathers (old or new plays a role too) absorb different amounts of liquid.

That sounds complicated - but it is not!
This leather dye is used for undyed and untreated vegetable tanned leather in leather craft.
It may not be suitable for treated leather of factory made bags, purses, table tops, car seats, leather furniture, leather clothing, etc. as most of the time these items are pre-dyed and have a protective coating that will prevent the dye from penetrating.
That is why we recommend you make a test beforehand to find out whether the dye is suitable for pre-treated or chrome-tanned leather:
• Cleanse the leather you want to dye thoroughly with a leather cleansing product and place a drop of water on it (rubbing a little).
• If the leather absorbs water, the dye may be suitable.
• Please note that we cannot guarantee for the result if your leather is not vegetable tanned. We recommend you contact the manufacturer for further information.
Always test the dye on an inconspicuous spot or an a small piece of leather scrap for suitability before going for a whole project.

Einfach prima
Habe es an Stiefeln ausprobiert, Pflanzlich gegerbtes Rinderleder. Schon der erste Auftrag scheint ausreichend zu sein! Ein schönes, mattes und in Verbindung mit dem Leder, ein etwas "speckiges" vintage design. So, wie ich es mir vorgestellt hatte. Zog schnell ein und trocknete ebenso in kürzester Zeit. Bin absolut zufrieden und froh, dieses Produkt gefunden zu haben! Vielen Dank!

Tolle Lederfarbe
Ich habe FIEBING'S PRO DYE und FIEBING'S LEATHER DYE USMC BLACK gekauft. Dazu diese Schwämmchen zum Auftragen. Ich nutze sie für die Lederpflege meiner Reitstiefel und sämtliches Lederzeug fürs Pferd. Die Stiefel sehen selbst nach ein paar Tagen in Benutzung noch immer schön schwarz aus. Es hält, was es verspricht. Deswegen klare Kaufempfehlung!

Ich habe so viele Jahre nach einer guten, funktionierenden Lederfarbe für meine ganzen Stiefel gesucht, und bin nun endlich fündig geworden. Durch Zufall habe ich die Seite von Patin-A gefunden und mir das "schwärzesre Schwarz" für amerikanische Militärstiefel bestellt. Damit habe ich ein paar dunkelblaue Lederstiefel zwemal behandelt und bin überrascht und super zufrieden mit dem Ergebnis! Die Farbe ist ohne Vorbehandlung des Leders perfekt eingedrungen und hat die Stiefel in perfektem Schwarz erstrahlen lass

Schwärzer gehts nicht
Jeder hat ja so seine Liebinge unter den Fiebings Produkten. Ich bin eher ein Freund von Alkohol-basierten Farben und färbe sonst alle meine Lederteile mit Leather Dye. Daher wollte ich auch mal USMC ausprobieren und es durchdringt das Leder wirklich extrem gut. Der Schwarzeffekt ist besser als bei jedem anderen (bis jetzt) getesteten Produkt. Ich habe relativ viel Farbe benutzt, dadurch ist es ziemlich dunkel geworden
