2-toned effect with Fiebing's Antique Finish
Fiebing's Antique Finish imparts a soft, lustrous patina that emphasizes tooling, carving and embossing.
You will achieve a beautiful, 2-toned effect.
Antique Finish is also used as an additional finish for dyeing with Leather Dye or Professional Oil Dye to give the leather a more natural and strong look, as dyed leathers often appear too 'pure'.
When dyeing black, an after-treatment with Antique Finish black is recommanded to achieve a deep colour tone.
How and why use leather finish?
Apply with a soft cloth or the Fiebing-Wooldauber. The original colour may rub off a little, which allows to achieve the different effects.
The wide range of colour tones in the Antique Finishes allows to enhance Harley Davidson saddles beautifully, as well as other elaborate works of embossed leather, such as bags, purses, key rings, scabbards, arm and leg protectors, etc.
Leather stamping without these highlights will definitely not look good!
After treatment and recommendation
Fiebing's Antique Finish is not waterproof and should be protected with one of our Fiebing's Finishes (for ex. Leather Sheen, Leather Balm with atomic wax, Resolene or Carnauba Creme).
For best results, Fiebing recommends to dilute Antique Finish with Fiebing's Tan-Kote Neutral, making a mixture of 20 % Tan-Kote to 80 % Antique Finish.
Makes spreading of Antique Finish easier.

Lederfarbe und Finish
Übersichtliche Seite mit großer Auswahl an hochwertigen Farben zu vernünftigen Preisen. Kurze Anleitungen erleichtern den Kauf sehr. Service ist sehr gut. Ich wurde per Email immer über den Stand meiner Bestellung informiert. Kann den Shop nur weiterempfehlen.

Grossartiges Produkt!
Dieses Produkt muss ich einfach bewerten! Ich nutze es schon seit vielen Jahren und finde, dass kein anderes Produkt so schön die Vertiefungen im Leder betont wie Fiebing's Antique Finish. Manchmal mische ich das Finish mit Tan-Kote um es geschmeidiger zu machen.
