Dye suede with Fiebing's Suede and Rough-Out Dye
Fiebing's Suede and Rough-Out Dye is the world's best known suede dye!
It penetrates deeply and dyes thoroughly!
All the colours are easy to mix to create a large palette of middle tones.
Dye preparation
Prepare suede or roughout article by brushing with suede brush to remove dirt (for instance using the PATIN-A Crepe Rubber Nubuck & Suede Leather Brush).
Please make sure to remove all stains (specially important for used shoes) as these will still show after dyeing!
Fiebing's Suede and Rough-Out Dye is a stain and does not cover!
Shiny spots must be roughened.
How do I dye?
Use a wool-dauber for dyeing or our little high density sponges.
Wear rubber gloves and fill the dye in a little glas bowl (dyeing will then be much easier and faster).
For dyeing suede it is important to dye twice in order to obtain the best stain coverage possible and an even result. After each dyeing process allow to dry for at least 12 hours.
After dyeing: fixing and impregnating
When thoroughly dry, brush the leather with a suede brush to restore the suede look and raise the nap (the little hairs on the leather stick together after dyeing and have to be raised through brushing).
Rub the leather with a soft, dry cloth to remove excess pigments (otherwise the leather may lose a little colour after fixation).
After drying you should impregnate the leather with a high quality impregnation spray to fix the colour. You will find a large choice of very good impregnation sprays here in the PATIN-A shop.
With a bottle of suede dye you can dye a pair of ladies' ankle boots or a hand bag or a pair of gentlemen's shoes ...

How much leather dye do I need?
We can't answer that question 100% as we do not know your shoes, boots, saddles, jackets, bags etc. and do not know how dye hungry your leather is either. Different leathers (old or new plays a role too) absorb different amounts of liquid.
With a bottle of suede dye you can dye a pair of ankle-high ladies' boots or a hand bag or a pair of gentlemen's shoes ...
You can find out the required amount yourself:
Take exactly one liter of water and a fine-pored sponge. Rub thoroughly over the desired item as if dyeing it. After 'dyeing', check the used amount of water: For that purpose, pour the remaining amount of water in a measuring beaker and subtract it from one liter. The difference is the dye amount for one dye (e.g. there are 650 ml left in the beaker = 350 ml is the required amount of dye).
But as you have to dye twice you need to double the amount of dye.
That sounds complicated - but it is not!
You may also save a little dye that way or you can buy right away the exact amount needed for a perfect dye.

J’ai acheté des produits il y a quelques mois mais je n’avais pas pris le temps de laisser un commentaire. J’ai acheté ces produits :

C’est vraiment de l’excellente qualité, et je recommande vivement aux futurs clients ces produits. Des brosses il en existe des milliers sur internet, tout comme des tampons et de la teinture mais là vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermés. Je tenais à dire que cette société est à recommander à 100 %..
J’ai passé une commande à une certaine heure et à peine une heure après je recevais déjà le numéro du colis pour le suivi. L’emballage est vraiment soigné, c’est propre, net, rien à redire. Je commande souvent sur internet, des produits divers et je peux vous garantir que certaines sociétés devraient prendre exemple sur la qualité, la rapidité, le suivi, et la satisfaction du client que PATIN fourni. Je mettrais un bémol sur le prix de la livraison qui reste un peu cher, certes c’est UPS mais l’emballage arrive intact.

Satte Farbe, Total zufrieden
Ich kenne mich mit solchen Produkten überhaupt nicht aus, hatte meine Zweifel und habe befürchtet, dass die grüne Farbe eventuell etwas blasser wirkt, als erwünscht. Aber ich kann nur sagen, dass ich absolut zufrieden bin!
Meine Wildlederstiefel haben durch das dicke Material recht viel Farbe gezogen & ich brauchte einen kleinen Moment, um die Farbe regelmäßig auftragen zu können. Bei meinem glatten Lederrucksack hat alles easy peasy und super schnell geklappt.
Werde ich auf jeden Fall nachkaufen. :D

Ausgezeichnete Farbe für Rauhleder
Ich war auf der Suche nach Farbe für Rauhleder, da die Schuhe meines Mannes nicht mehr so ansehnlich waren.
Bei PATIN-A bin ich fündig geworden. Die Anwendung wurde gut verständlich auf der Internetseite erklärt. In der Artikelbeschreibung wird auch angegeben, für was ein Fläschchen reicht. Das hat mich überzeugt.
ch bestellte die Farbe und wagte mich an das Projekt Schuhe färben. Es ist etwas Zeitaufwand aber es lohnt sich. Das Ergebnis ist super.
Mein Mann erfreut sich wieder an seinen neu erstrahlten Schuhen. Ich kann die Rauhlederfarbe nur empfehlen.

Wildlederschuhe von Terrakotta zu Rot einfärben
Ganz schnelle Lieferung und die Anwendung der Farbe war einfach.
Das Ergebnis ist perfekt, da die Farbe mit der Fixierung (3/97) einfach an der Luft trocknen konnte und ganz tief ins Leder eingezogen ist. Die Farbe enthält sehr viel Pigmentanteile und leuchtet richtig doll. Immer wieder werde ich über PATIN-A bestellen. Meine Wildlederschuhe sehen besser als zuvor aus.
Das Preisleistungsverhältnis ist besser als bei jeden anderen Shop.

Die Farbe funktioniert wunderbar
Habe Farbe zum Färben von Wildlederschuhen gekauft. Gelb, rot und blau. Das Gelb wird ein wenig orange, aber nur leicht. Ansonsten funktioniert es wunderbar und die Schuhe sehen wieder frisch aus.

Top Produkt!
Hatte graue Rauleder-Stiefeletten, die ich gerne in schwarz umfärben wollte. Habe zuerst bei diversen Schustern nachgefragt, die wollten alle zwischen 140 und 180€ (!) dafür haben, also beschloss ich kurzerhand, dass ich das einfach selber mache, wenn es schon die Möglichkeit dazu gibt. Natürlich war ich anfangs skeptisch, aber ich habe es einfach mit der Farbe von Fiebing probiert und bin mit dem Ergebnis wirklich 100% zufrieden! Die Schuhe sehen aus als hätte ich sie schon in schwarz gekauft! Die Struktur des Leders wird auch nicht so stark angegriffen wie ich dachte, man muss das Leder nach dem Färben und Trocknen nur wieder etwas aufrauhen. Danach gut imprägnieren und dann sollte die Farbe laut Hersteller auch halten. Top!

FIEBING'S WILD-LEDERFARBE Burgundy
Ich habe hellrosa Velourleder-Ballerina damit eingefärbt. Das Ergebnis ist sehr gut geworden. Ein schönes dunkles bordeaux rot.
Aber der "Pinsel" zum Verteilen ist nicht gut für kleine Ecken geeignet. Hier muss man im Zweifelsfall noch ein Wattestäbchen hinzunehmen.

Nach langem Suchen und hin und her Überlegen hatte ich mich für dieses Produkt entschieden, zum Glück! Erwartungen deutlich übertroffen
Hatte die violetten Wildlederbesätze meiner Lieblingsschuhe durch verschüttetes Chlor fleckig und ungleichmäßig entfärbt. Laut Schuster bestand keine Chance mehr, die Schuhe zu retten. Habe es dann mit der Fiebing´s-Farbe "Purple" versucht. Das war unkompliziert: Einfach mit Wattestäbchen bzw. dem beigefügten Wattebausch die Schuhe flächendeckend mit Farbe bedecken, wiederholen, trocknen lassen, imprägnieren. Und: Nur dreimal Überfärben hat super funktioniert: Das Wildleder ist sehr schön lila gefärbt, die Farbe hat gleichmäßig gedeckt und die Flecken sind vollkommen unsichtbar. Bin total begeistert, muss meine geliebten Schuhe doch nicht wegwerfen - und werde den Erfolg meinem Schuster unter die Nase reiben!

Sehr empfehlenswert!
Mein neuster Schuhkauf war der absolute Reinfall! Ich wollte cognacfarbene Wildlederschuhe und erhielt beige Schuhe. Da ich noch nie gefärbt habe, hatte ich natürlich Angst die 150 Euro teuren Schuhe zu ruinieren. Ich hielt mich genau an die Anleitung und bin sehr begeistert! Du Schuhe sehen einfach Hammer aus!!! Als nächstes werde ich meine braunen Schuhe schwarz färben. Das ist ein wirklich unkompliziertes Top Produkt!
