Thin leather dye with Fiebing's Dye Reducer
Fiebing's Leather Dye is used to thin alcohol- or oil-based leather dyes (like Leather Dye and Professional Leather Dye), for spray dyeing or for use as ink.
This leather dye reducer can change the texture of leather dyes and also change the colour intensity of the original dye and make it more 'watery'. If you find some of the tones in the Fiebing's range too dark, you can lighten them up with Dye Reducer.
How to thin properly and additional use
Just pour a bit of Fiebing's Leather Dye in an empty container, an open glas bowl for instance, and mix with Dye Reducer until you have reached the desired degree of dilution and the right leather dye tone.
Fiebing's Leather Dye Reducer can also remove leather dye and clean paint brushes.

Macht Lederfarben heller
Besonders, wenn man die ölbasierten Lederfarben von Fiebing's viel benutzt, ist dieser Verdünner ein super Zusatz zu seinem Sortiment. Ich habe viele Kunden, die sich einen ganz bestimmten Farbton wünschen, da muss man oft viel ausprobieren. Der Dye Reducer ist sehr praktisch, wenn die Farben nicht zu kräftig wirken sollen. Er mildert die Farbtöne ab. Vor allem die Farbintensität von Oil Dye Farben wie Rot, Blau, Grün kann man prima herunter stufen.
