TRG Neatsfoot Oil - the Spanisch neatsfoot oil
Neatsfoot Oil is very often used to preserve leather and to make it soft and waterproof.
Oil greases and restores the suppleness of the leather.
To make hard saddle bags and car seats soft and supple again, automobile restorers like to use Neatsfoot Oil.
An inexpensive European alternative to US products.
The use of neatsfoot oil requires patience
Fill a small amount into a container and dip a sponge or cloth into the oil. Begin treating the leather in circular movements.
The Neatsfoot Oil is absorbed very quickly and the oiled area appears dark, blotchy and uneven. No panic - this always happens!
Apply a second coat over the first one. You can now see lighter areas that could use a little more oil.
Now that the oil has been absorbed the surface already looks more even.
After 24 hours the leather has lightened and gets its final colour.
Tips from the pros
You need only small amounts of Neatsfoot Oil. Too much does more harm than good.
Please do not drown your leather piece in oil, this would make it 'lifeless' - dirt could penetrate through the open pores and oil could sweat out in the sun.
Before you start, practice oiling on leather residues.

• The leather will darken through treatment with neatsfoot oil.
• Not suitable for suede and nubuck!

Really good product
Used this on an old leather jacket and it made it so soft - almost like new. Really can't recommend enough!
