The iridescent Jacquard Airbrush Colors
The iridescent Jacquard Airbrush Colors are similar to mother-of-pearl colours but with an additional shade shift noticeable on contours and light angles. Iridescent colours have a shift from a lighter shade in direct view to a darker shade in side view.
The colours work best on white or black undergrounds.

Which nozzle size?
Airbrush Color Iridescent can very well be airbrushed.
The paints can be sprayed undiluted with a nozzle size of 0,21 mm or bigger. For use with smaller nozzle sizes Jacquard Airbrush Color should be reduced with Jacquard Airbrush Clear Extender Medium.

Jacquard Airbrush Colors are odourless, non-toxic and water based liquid acrylate paints. They can be sprayed without additives and are also very well suited for low pressure. They do not clog the nozzle as they only dry out minimally at the tip.

This is how you will achieve excellent results with Jacquard Airbrush Color
Surface preparation:
All surfaces must be clean.
Fabrics must be washed and dirt, wax, coatings and care products removed from leather.
Non porous surfaces, such as metal and plastic, may require light sanding. A base coat may be needed for blank metal.
For a long life, the airbrush paint must be overpainted with a clear varnish on hard surfaces.
Use:
Apply in light, regular coats. Avoid an oversaturation of the surface.
Use a pressure of approx. 40 psi and the nozzle size should not be less than 0,5 mm.
The colours are cross mixable, so that you will obtain a complete colour palette.
You can fix the heat resistant paint on hard surfaces with a heat gun. For fabrics, fix by ironing with a dry iron set accordingly for 30 seconds.
Varnish instructions (optional): after complete drying of the airbrush paint, spray a clear varnish in a thin and regular coat. Repeat this (if required) after complete drying of the first coat.
Tips for the airbrush
• Before you start working with the airbrush make sure your equipment is complete and working. Check the needle and nozzle and replace them if they're bent. Also, make sure the compressor is working properly and the air pressure is set correctly.
• Make sure you use the right nozzle size especially for metallic colours. Don't leave the paint too long in the airbrush so that it will not dry out. - When not in use, put caps on the bottles to avoid drying out.
• Dilute the paints with water if you need a thinner paint.
• Make sure to clean your equipment thoroughly as soon as you're done.
• Transparent paints work best on white and light surfaces.
• Covering paints and metallic paints work on light as well as on dark surfaces.

perfect for craft projects
making some shiny shoes for the kids school play and this paint really did the trick, super easy to use and looks really good once you've sprayed it on, the kids love it, thanks ever so much

Coole Farbe! Hätte ich nie gedacht, dass mir irisierende Farben gefallen könnten. Die Jacquardfarben sind hochwertig und jeden Cent wert.
Sehr zu empfehlen.

je me suis 'offert' de nouvelles baskets ! Sympa surtout maintenant qu'il faut rester chez soi... ça donne des idées de se promener sur internet. Commande, livraison, tout a super bien marché. Je suis très contente de ma découverte de ce beau site.

Ich habe die Farben von Jacquard für ein Projekt an der Uni angewendet. Ich habe damit auf verschiedenen Kunststoffmaterialien gemalt. Ich habe die Farben mit Pinsel und Airbrush aufgetragen und bin vom Ergebnis sehr beeindruckt. Die Farben sind sehr intensiv und leuchten auch sehr schön. Ich werde bestimmt auch die anderen Farbsorten von Jacquard ausprobieren.
