The brightener for all fabrics
Jacquard Color Remover removes or lightens the colours of all types of fabrics. It allows redyeing in a lighter tone.
This brightener for dye preparation is suitable for all natural fibers (e.g. cotton, linen, viscose, silk).
The colour remover is very good for brightening up dirty, used and stained fabrics. It does not contain a bleaching agent.
How to proceed:
• Always use the entire content of the pack.
• An Jacquard Color Remover 14g pack can discolour up to 1.3kg of textiles.
• For use in a pot at 85°C - 90°C.
iDye Color Remover - Instructions:
1. Weigh the dry textile to be sure it does not weigh more than 1300g. Treat larger amounts in several operations.
2. Fill a stainless steel, an aluminium or an enamel pot with just enough water for the fabric to move freely. Set on medium to high heat.
3. Dissolve the content of the pack in hot water while stiring constantly.
4. Add the garments and raise the temperature:
• For cotton and silk: heat just under boiling point.
• For polyester: bring the water to the boil.
5. Keep the temperature and stir from time to time. After 10 to 20 minutes the colour should come out of the fiber.
6. Wash the garments with a mild detergent and then let them dry.
Important to know:
Removing the colour from the fabric and clothing does not only depends on the water temperature and the duration of the treatment but also on the type of dye used originally for dyeing the garment.
Certain reactive dyes decolorize into lighter shades or change to different shades. In some cases the colour in the garment is not a dye but a pigment and cannot come out. This applies also to certain dyes (e.g. the reactive dye black no. 5 cannot be removed).
Please also note:
• Jacquard Color Remover cannot bleach fabrics white.
• Not suitable for washing machines.
• Utensils and the pot used for removing the colour should not be used for food.
• IMPORTANT: always discolour in a well ventilated room. Do not breathe in fumes! Careful with asthma, bronchitis and respiratory allergies! (this applies to all decolourisers!)
• CAREFUL! Harmful if swallowed! Contains Thiourea dioxide. If swallowed give water or milk and call a doctor. Avoid eye contact. Keep out of the reach of children.
• Store in a cool and dry place.
Jacquard Color Remover does not harm your fabrics.

A lot of choice and fast service
I ordered some textile dyes and destainers from here. My order was dispatched promptly and I received it (in the Netherlands) within a few days. The products were exactly what I was looking for and did a great job on the cloth I needed to dye. If I need to dye clothing again I will definitely return to Patin-A.

Did the job - completely freshened up my old curtains. Just be careful not to use with too much fabric!

Hmm...
Ich habe Alltagsmasken aus weißem Seidengeorgette mit Dypro "deep blue" gefärbt und schwarz bekommen. Dürfte Überdosis aus Unerfahrenheit gewesen sein. Die Farbe hat beim Entfärben zwar stark ausgeblutet und am Ende kam annähernd das erwünschte Nachtblau heraus. Umfärben hätte ich es aber nicht mehr können. Die Wirkung hängt vermutlich stark von der Ausgangsfarbe und von der Stoffart ab. Die kleinen Seidenmasken haben die Prozedur annehmbar überlebt. Bei Kleidungsstücken aus Seide wären die Haptik und der Fall aber wohl hinüber.

Vor der Färbung habe ich alle Shirts mit dem Colour Remover entfärbt und danach neu gefärbt. Der Stoff hat sich vom Gefühl nicht verändert und die Farben sind sehr leuchtend geworden. Das ist echt ein Top Produkt.

Funktioniert gut
Was soll ich sagen: das Produkt funktioniert genau so wie beschrieben. Es hellt die Stoffe auf und man kann sie danach sehr gut umfärben. Der Kauf hat sich sehr gelohnt.
