A must-have for dyeing - the best dye salt
PATIN-A Special Dye Salt for brilliant colour results when dyeing in the washing machine or by hand in a container or a pot.
This special dye salt dissolves quickly and due to the packaging in a bag (zip loc bag), it is very easy to use the right dose.
A very special dye salt
Our dye salt contains sodium sulfate, better known as Glauber's salt.
The advantage of our special dye salt compared to 'ordinary' kitchen salt is that the dye can penetrate the fiber more evenly.
You will achieve a better and more uniform dye result. The salt also makes the dye last longer so that the dye particles are less likely to wash out or fade. It adds intensity to turquoise dyes and helps with wash fastness. Without the addition of dye salt the dye cannot spread as well in the fibres. You would get a blotchy, uneven dye result.
We recommend PATIN-A Dye Salt for all textile dyes.
Easy to use the right dose
The bags (zip loc bag) are reclosable and the salt will stay dry until the last dye.
Please read the detailed instructions on your dye pack for the right amount of salt.
As PATIN-A Dye Salt penetrates the fibers much more deeply, you only need half of the specified salt quantity.
How do I use the PATIN-A Dye Salt?
Dissolve the PATIN-A Dye Salt in warm water (approx. 1 l) and pour the salt water into the machine through the washing powder compartment. This will prevent the salt from agglomerating and the salt water solution will penetrate the fibers evenly before the dye.

Sehr gutes Salz
Das Färbesalz von Patina ist super. Ich nutze es bei jeder Färbung und finde, dass die Farben viel leuchtender werden. Bei Waschmaschinenfärbungen soll man bis zu 2 Kilo herkömmliches Salz hinzufügen - ich nehme eine Packung Färbesalz (=500 Gramm) und habe intensivstfarbige Kleidung.

Weniger ist Mehr
Seit wir das Färbesalz in unserer Werkstatt nutzen, haben wir den Salzverbrauch stark reduziert und immer noch brilliante Farben.
Wir werden kein normales Speisesalz mehr nutzen sondern nur noch das Patin-a Färbesalz.

Gutes Produkt
Das Färben mit normalem Salz funktioniert auch, aber ich habe das Gefühl, dass mit dem spezial Färbesalz die Farben einfach intensiver werden.
Ich löse das Salz vorab auf, bevor ich es in die Färbeflotte gebe.
