DYLON Pre-Dye - Fabric Colour Stripper

What do I need the colour stripper for?
DYLON Pre-Dye removes colour from the fabric so that it can be redyed a lighter shade.
This colour stripper for dye preparation is chlorine free and suited for all natural fibers and nylon. Not recommended for wool, silk, polyester, acrylic, acetate or fabrics with special finishes.
Some shades such as bright greens and blues, royal blues, turquoises and indigo (denim) may not be suitable for treatment.
Proceed as follows:
• Always use whole content of pack.
• 1 pack (600g) can discolour up to 2,5kg of textiles.
• For use in the washing machine at 85°C - 90°C.
• Washing machine loading capacity up to 2,5kg.
Hint:
A big pack (600g) is enough for 2,5kg of fabric - it discolours much more fabric than you can dye with one pack of machine fabric dye.
If buying machine dyes as well (for ex. by DYLON or DEKA) you only need 1 pack of Pre-Dye 600g for every 4 or 5 boxes of machine dye.
The more colour is removed, the closer you will get to the shade on the dye pack.
Use DYLON Pre-Dye to change from one strong colour to another (e.g. from brown to tulip red) or to dye fabric to a lighter shade (e.g. brown to pebble beige).
DYLON Pre-Dye - DIRECTIONS:
1. Weigh dry items to ensure that they are 2.5kg or less. If you need to treat more than 2.5kg of fabric, do so with two or more machine loads.
2. Put fabric in the washing machine. Set and start the longest/hottest programme (85°C/95°C).
3. After about 15 minutes dissolve pack contents in 2 litres of hot water and add to machine via detergent drawer.
4. When cycle is complete, add usual washing detergent, wash fabric as usual and then dye to the colour of your choice.
HELPFUL HINTS:
• Pre-Dye cannot return your fabric to white.
• Not suitable for use in twin-tub machines, top-loader machines with central disc agitators or launderette machines.
• IMPORTANT: Always use in a well-ventilated room. Do not breathe fumes! Especially if you suffer from asthma, bronchitis or allergies that affect breathing.
• Store in a cool, dry place.
• Keep out of the reach of children.
DYLON Pre-Dye’s chlorine-free formula won’t damage fabrics or your machine or affect subsequent washes.

Stark aufgehellt
Meine zuvor gefärbten Kleidungsstücke wollte ich neu färben. Hierfür kaufte ich mir das PreDye und verschiedene Farben. Es hat super geklappt und meine Shirts sehen jetzt noch besser aus.

Funktioniert gut
Ich habe mehrere Kleidungsstücke mit Pre-Dye entfärbt und danach überfärbt . Das Produkt funktioniert und es gibt nichts zu beanstanden. Die Fasern haben durch das Entfärben nicht gelitten.

Große Freude
Endlich gibt es wieder dieses großartige Entfärbemittel von Dylon. Ich habe damit jahrelang perfekte Umfärbungen erhalten. Im Gegensatz zu herkömmlichen Entfärbern leidet die Garnstruktur nicht und das Textil kann öfters umgefärbt werden. Für uns Profis im Kostümbereich einfach unverzichtbar ❤️
