Fiebing's Antique Leather Stain is very easy to use. Antique effects in seconds!
It is a fast drying water based stain great for emphasizing carvings or for darkening colours.
Why Antique Leather Stain?
Some leathers appear unnatural after dyeing with Leather Dye or Professional Oil Dye, because the colour is too pure.
Fiebing's Antique Leather Stain gives your leather work the perfect touch of a rare and antique leather work of art.
This stain can be applied over all Fiebing's dyes.
Easy application for beautiful results
Apply Fiebings Antique Leather Stain in a circular motion with a wool dauber,
sheepskin or a soft cloth.
We recommend you humidify the leather first.
Leave to dry for a minute and wipe off excess with a paper towel.
For best results, wipe off excess one more time with a damp sponge.
The Antique Leather Stain colours can be easily mixed.
Great two-toned-effect with Fiebing's Acrylic Resolene Finish
If you treat some parts first with Resolene and allow to dry for a day or two, you will achieve a great two-toned effect when dyeing with Antique Leather Stain. The previously varnished parts remain light-coloured and stand out very nicely compared to the freshly with Antique Leather Stain dyed parts.

Schöne Patinaeffekte
Ich habe zum ersten Mal von diesem Patiniermittel im Forum gelesen und hätte nicht gedacht, dass die Anwendung wirklich so einfach ist. Das Antique Leather Stain färbt nur ganz leicht und man muß keine Angst haben, dass die Punzierung durch die Farbe zerstört wird. Sehr empfehlenswert!
