The sponge for beard shadow and distressings
These very firm Stipple Sponges are used by make up artists to create an unshaved look (beard shadow), hair shadow or wounds of crusty blood (scab effect). The different beard sponges can be used in various ways.
Also excellent for partial application / distressing with PATIN-A products, acrylic dyes, fabric dyes or Aquacolor colours.
Care and use
Expressive distressings can be created with these special sponges. This works particularly well with PATIN-PASTE and PATIN-GEL products.
Before application, the sponge should be dabbed on a cloth (e.g. an old terry towel) or on the back of the hand so that the colour is pressed into the pores. Otherwise, the overall appearance will be uneven or unintentionally blotchy.
Wash the sponge after each use with soap and water. Then you will enjoy this "indestructible" stipple sponge for a long time.
