Metallic Leather Dye - TRG Tintolina

A fantastic choice of very different metal dyes: Gold and Silver in three shades each, Platinum, Bronze and Copper.
With the excellent TRG Tintolina Metallic Leather Dye from Spain, it's no problem to re-dye or decorate your leather pieces.
These leather dyes are strongly pigmented and perfectly suitable for smooth leather and synthetic leather (and many other materials).
Mix and apply metallic dyes
TRG Tintolina Professional Metallic Leather Dyes are crossmixable and can be thinned with water. It's an acrylic based dye and thus opaque.
With this dye, you can dye smooth leathers, imitation leather but also wood, paper and other materials.
First, remove the finish from the leather you want to dye with a finish remover so that the dye will adhere to the leather (we recommend PURE 100%, Fiebings Deglazer or ROC Gold Quality)
Once the finish is gone, you can start dyeing or partially painting your leather with TRG Metallic Dye.
For covering a larger area, we recommend a little dye sponge or a wool dauber. For painting, a brush is best.
Since the dyes are very fluid they can very well be sprayed.
What should I do after dyeing?
After dyeing/painting, you should protect the TRG Metallic Leather Dye with an acrylic finish. This will make the dye more resistant and durable. (e.g. with Acrylic Resolene or Leather Sheen).
Tip:
The metallic dyes tend to form a paste at the bottom of the container. To homogenise the paint properly, brush over it at the bottom of the container and stir well until there are no more lumps. The product can then be applied and will give the right result. Shaking the container will not make the lumps fall apart.
Shaking the Metallic Leather Dyes before dyeing will cause many little bubbles. These are very annoying when dyeing as they will produce stains once dry.
After shaking, fill the content of the bottle in a little bowl (e.g. a dessert bowl), then dip a sponge or brush into the liquid for dyeing. The bubbles will spread out in the bigger container and dissolve more quickly.
You can also dry the paint faster with the hair dryer - blow-drying the paint (with a hair dryer) bursts the bubbles.

Bronze und Platin
Ich habe mit diesen Farben je ein Paar schwarze Lederschuhe neu gefärbt und bin begeistert! Beide Farben sehen richtig besonders aus, die Deckkraft ist nach der zweiten Schicht hervorragend und die Farben im Übrigen sehr ergiebig. Vielen Dank auch für die super schnelle Lieferung und die süße Beigabe zur Bestellung :-).

Sehr gutes Produkt
Diese Metallicfarbtöne sind unglaublich gut. Ich habe schon viele Lederfarben getestet, aber diese sind um Längen besser als alles auf dem Markt erhältliche. Wenn man ein Acrylfinish auf die Metallicfarbe aufträgt, dann leuchten die Farben stärker und sind zusätzlich geschützt. Volle Punktzahl!!!

Antiksilber
Wahnsinns Farbe! Ich habe zum ersten Mal Schuhe gefärbt und nutzte dafür die Metallic Farbe in Antiksilber. Hat sich sehr gelohnt - die Schuhe sehen 100 Mal besser aus als vorher!

Toller Schimmer-Effekt
Ich habe ewig nach solchen Farben gesucht. Lederfarben in den Standardtönen gibt es ja viele, aber Silber und Gold sind kaum erhältlich. Die Farben sind wirklich einzigartig! Sie decken gut und wirken sehr intensiv, ein Wahnsinnseffekt auf dem Leder. Ich kannte die Marke vorher gar nicht, aber mir wurde bereits am Telefon gesagt, dass es eine qualitativ hochwertige Lederfarbe ist. Dem kann ich nur zustimmen. Ein bisschen schade ist, dass es nur ganz kleine (25ml) und ganz große (500ml) Abpackungen gibt. Irgendetwas dazwischen wäre besser. Ansonsten alles top!
