Original use and application areas
The name 'Saddle Soap' comes from the fact that this soap was originally meant for the leather of saddles, to give them a good grip and make them supple.
But this soap is very versatile and suited for all leather types.
Fiebing's Saddle Soap is particularly suited for rough leathers - the original appearance of the leather will be restored.
Thanks to its high content in moisture, glycerine gives longlasting suppleness and leaves a beautiful sheen, particularly on smooth leather.
An uncomplicated product
With a bit of warm water the saddle soap lathers easily. Always use warm water, as this will clean the pores of the leather more effectively.
Rub a moist sponge over the Fiebing's Saddle Soap bar and then pass evenly on the leather.
Allow the saddle soap to soak in and to dry.
For a shiny surface, buff briefly with a soft cloth.
Alternatively the humidified soap bar can also be rubbed directly on the leather.
Recommendations and further use
Fiebing's Glycerine Saddle Soap Bar is a very versatile and uncomplicated product.
Cut the bar in halves with a large kitchen knife before use, as it will be easier to handle.
A bar of this special soap will last years in most cases and is very economical to use.
It's common pratice at horse shows and fairs to treat horses and cattle with glycerine soap, as this gives the coat a healthy, shiny appearance.
