A glue - not only for leather
ROC Leather Glue is a premium, strong glue that bonds leather, textiles and rubber alike.
ROC Leather Glue is used for glueing of leather bags, textiles, rubber, etc. It can also very well fix a crack in the leather.
Just 4 steps to bonding leather
1. Preparation:
The bonding surface have to be clean, dry and dust free.
You can roughen very smooth leather a little with sanding paper or a sole ruffer.
2. Application of glue:
Apply ROC Leather Glue evenly in a thin coat with a paint brush on both bonding surfaces – paying particular attention to the edges.
This glue cannot be diluted!
3. Allow to evaporate & bond
Important: this leather glue can only stick when it is nearly dry. Allow the solvants to evaporate at room temperature (18-25°C) for approximately 15 minutes before you assemble the surfaces.
After evaporating you should glue immediately. A closed adhesive film should be visible on the surfaces. If the surface is large-pored or absorbent, reapplication of the glue may be necessary.
The ventilated glue film has to feel dry before you join the surfaces together (finger test: the adhesive must not stick to your finger nor pull strings)
4. Press together:
Both parts have to be layed out so that they fit perfectly, as corrections will not be possible after touching of both glue films.
Then press the parts briefly together - but with all your strength!
For a strong and longlasting bonding: it is the strength of the pressure exerted that is important, not the duration.
If you bond a larger surface: press from the middle to avoid air pockets.
Press strongly also on the sides and edges.
Depending on the piece, a strong rolling over (flexible surface pressure) or a compression stroke with a rubber mallet may be enough.

Großartig
ROC Lederleim ist der beste Lederkleber den ich jemals benutzt habe. Die Haftkraft ist sehr stark und genau.

Klebt hervorragend
Ein sehr guter Klebstoff der viele verschiedene Oberflächen zusammenklebt. Ich habe ihn schon mehrfach bestellt und kann ihn mit gutem Gewissen weiterempfehlen.

Superkleber
Ich kannte diesen Klebstoff vorher nicht und habe ihn bei meiner Farbbestellung mitbestellt. Der Kleber klebt sehr gut und begindet sich in einer sehr schönen (fast historischen) Glasflasche. Sehr zu empfehlen!
