Yellow rust - a must for miniatures with Dirty-Down
Brand new in the Dirty-Down range: 'Yellow Rust' - the yellowish rust effect. This colour was missing for many model makers and the 'World of Warcraft' fan community.
Dirty-Down is used worldwide in events, theatre and film - and now also in the world of model trains and miniatures.
Rusty surfaces in seconds
Dirty-Down Yellow Rust Paint allows you to simulate a spot-on, natural rust effect on props, model tanks, model trains, track edge sections, cars or trucks and miniatures.
The yellow rust paint is applied like the normal rust paint with a brush or the airbrush/spray. Use the paint alone or with the normal rust effect paint. A single coat of paint has a light yellow colour tone that will become darker with each additional coat of paint. If several coats are applied, the colour tone will darken and resemble our normal rust paint. Mix with our normal rust paint to achieve different rust tones.
Dirty-Down Yellow Rust Paint simulates rust on styrofoam, plastic, metal, casting resin and even paper.
Cleaning tips
Dirty-Down Rust Paint is non-corrosive, non-flammable, dries quickly and does not deform plastic models.
No special equipment is required to achieve professional results, tools and hands are simply cleaned afterwards with soap and water.
If prop surfaces are not sealed, the paint may penetrate and may not be removable.
Also with costumes, cleaning is usually not possible, Dirty Down Rust has a permanent effect here.
