The Professional Dressmaking Shears (#7250) with the extra sharp blades and large handles (with a total length of 25cm) from the traditional manufacturer KAI in Japan.
These scissors fit the hand extremely well and the ergonomically shaped handles make work easy.
The blades are made of high quality carbone steel - this guarantees high durability and long-lasting cutting performance.
The blades are drawn right through to the handles, thus ensuring high stability and a more precise cutting performance.
These "longer" Dressmaking Shears are very popular with gentlemen's tailors.
The 7000 series by KAI
The 7000 series is the new generation of professional tailor's shears.
The blades of the 7000 series consists of 58±1 HRC hard AUS8A stainless steel with a strength of 3,7 to 4 mm.
The scissors have a matt finish and a patented "Duplex Interlock" adjusting screw. This allows a consistent tension setting.
The screw is specially heat treated and with a hardness of 45±1 HRC extremely robust.
In 2005 the 7000 series won the IF Design Award.
