Rapide Waxcoating restores and refreshes the waterproofing of all waxed articles (clothing and equipment).
Use Rapide Waxcoating for nourishing and reproofing waxed cotton garments (e. g. Barbour, Lavenham or Kakadu).
How do I use Rapide Waxcoating?
• Put the wax tin in a water bath in order to melt it, then apply a thick coat with a cloth, sponge or brush.
• One tin suffices for one jacket.
• After applying the wax, turn the jacket inside out and put it in a pillow case.
• Then put it in the dryer at medium heat for 20 minutes. This is enough to liquefy the wax.
• The result is an even, matt wax coat on the jacket.
Please note:
Use Rapide Waxcoating only on pure cotton! It does not work on mixed materials!
