How can energy-saving laundry care be achieved?
For laundry care you need a washing machine and a tumble dryer (alternatively, an iron will do).
Granger's - Wash + Repel is a product that saves a lot of energy: you only need one wash cycle to both clean and waterproof your clothes (this is usually done in two steps).
Granger's recommends this product for all high end outdoor clothing including
Gore-Tex®, eVent® and all other waterproof breathable fabrics.
A bottle (300ml) allows you to wash and waterproof 8 garments.
Washing and impregnation instructions
1. Close all zippers and hook-and-loop fasteners (and tie the seams of sleeves and pants with a safety pin)
2. Shake the bottle well and fill two caps full into the washing machine. For each additional jacket, add a further cap full.
3. Wash at 30°C including a rinse cycle. Granger’s products are much more eco-friendly and energy efficient due to the low washing temperature.
4. Dry the washed garment completely at a medium temperature in the dryer (check the label first in order to make sure that the garment can be dried in the dryer).
After that, dry for a further 15 minutes in the dryer to finish activating the product.
