The TRG Patent Leather Spray is perfect on all TRG leather dyes. But you can also produce a beautiful patent leather gloss on any smooth leather, no matter what dye it was dyed with.
Dye leather like a pro
Allow freshly dyed shoes to dry well before you apply the varnish.
You do not have to pay attention to anything in particular before you start. But please cover all the parts you do not want to treat with Frogtape.
If you want to treat a leather item that you have not dyed yourself or that is already in use, please remove dirt and the finish first (with a finish remover). This way, the varnish will adhere much better to the leather (we recommend PURE 100%, Fiebings Deglazer or ROC Gold Quality).
You can start spraying the leather right after removal of the finish.
Make sure to shake the spray can well before you start. The can produces a clear varnish in a very fine spray mist. Protect the environment e.g. with newspaper. Spray evenly a thin coat of product from a distance of approx. 20 - 30cm onto the desired surface.
The spray should only be used outside.
Allow the product to dry thoroughly before you apply the next coat. Once dry, you can apply another coat. Leave to dry overnight before wearing.
Our tip:
Never again clogged nozzles:
To avoid the spray nozzle clogging in-between application of varnish coats, turn the can upside down (right after spraying) and empty the nozzle completely. You can easily see when the nozzle is empty - the spray mist changes and becomes a little less.

Tasche wie neu
Habe eine schwarze, schon recht abgegriffene und matt gewordene Lederhandtasche damit eingesprüht - Die Tasche glänzt wie neu und sieht jetzt ein bisschen aus wie Knautschlack, gefällt mir sehr gut. Das Spray trocknet auch sehr schnell.
