A tie former - what's that?
A 'tie former' is an 'ironing board' for ties - it comes in two sizes.
An indispensable tool in the costume department and a must in the home of every tie wearer.
Slip the tie former into the tie and iron it carefully (it's safer to use an ironing cloth to protect the material and avoid shining - available in our shop).
Thanks to its conic shape the tie former can be slipped even into narrow ties.
There's a loop at the larger end to hang it up.
