Product information "Textile Adhesive - texfix"
Bonding holes and tears in textiles is a breeze
texfix bonds textiles, leather, softplastics, felt and paper - fast, securely and permanently.
This textile adhesive is great for rapidly mending holes, tears and loose hems but also for DIY jobs like for instance appliqués on clothing, bags or cushions, etc.
Can also be used for gluing thread ends for embroidery (for instance for Hardanger embroidery).
A wide range of applications
Small cracks in leather bags or belts can easily be mended with this textile glue.
This product is also often used for sewing or DIY jobs or for quilting.
In addition to that, texfix is the ideal companion for excursions. Many inflatable boats are made from soft PVC and little holes and cracks can be fixed in minutes.
Elasticity and durability at the same time
The textile glue solidifies within approx. 10 minutes and bonds permanently. However, the bonded joint remains elastic.
The glue is ironing and washing stable up to 60°C. But please make an adhesive test first when gluing textiles.
