Tex-Waterproof Spray-On does not affect the breathability of hard and/or soft shells.
How can the effectiveness of Tex-Waterproof be improved?
To improve the effectiveness of Tex-Waterproof we recommend washing or cleaning clothing and items (tents, parasols, storage bags, backpacks etc) prior to use.
Proofing instructions
1. Shake bottle well.
2. First wash the jacket (or clean the object), for ex. with Rapide Techwash. Make sure there are no detergent residues left in the fibres (rinse well!).
3.The items can be sprayed on wet or dry.
4. After spraying it is important that you spread the liquid with a damp cloth or sponge until there are no white residues visible any more (otherwise you will have white stains).
5. Thoroughly dry the proofed garment at low temperature in the laundry dryer. You can also simply leave it to air dry.
Tex-Waterproof Spray-On is silicone, propellant and fluorocarbon free.
The surface active agents in the proofing liquid meet the criteria for biodegradability.
