Strap End Punch 'V' (oval)
Design belt ends yourself
This strap end punch is one of the most popular tools in belt making.
The taper blade makes square leather ends round and creates a beautiful belt end.
This punching tool is also often used for manufacturing dog collars or other leather works with a buckle or strap.
Thanks to the razor-sharp blade, you will achieve a beautiful and clean leather edge. This strap end punch will also work very well on slightly thicker leather.
Pick the right punch
These tools come in different sizes and the gap between both blade ends is respectively 30mm, 35mm or 40mm. Your strap should have approximately the same width or a little less for a beautifully finished piece.
You will achieve an oval-tapered strap end in seconds.
Position the strap end punch on the leather edge and punch it through the leather with an embossing mallet.
Use a punching base to protect your table top and the right hammer for punching. Metal hammers may damage the strap end punch as well as all other punching tools.
