Seam Marker - Spacer
Perfect seam holes with the spacer
An even row of stitchings is indispensable for good sewing results on leather.
The spacer allows marking of a line of holes in leather within seconds. All holes can be pricked at the same distance from each other.
The best sewing preparation in three steps
First, draw a straight line with the groover at an even distance from the edge. The groover does good preparatory work for the spacer. Now, push the spacer along the groove, moving it slowly back and forth. You will get even marks for the seam holes.
For step three, it is best to clamp your leather piece in a lacing pony to hold it firmly during work. Using a leather awl, you can now pierce holes where the marks are.
These three tools will make your seam look perfect through the even distance to the edge and in-between the holes and give your leather work a really professional appearance.
The spacer is, due to its easy use and the beautiful results achieved, one of the most popular leather tools.
Easy exchanging of the little wheels
This spacer comes in a set with three interchangeable spacing wheels and a little wrench for easy unscrewing of the holding device of the wheel and replacing it by another one.
