Light fast deeply penetrating leather dye
ROC Leather Dye from Denmark is a quality product with high pigment density and light fastness.
Pros love it and swear by this good aniline dye for untreated leather.
If you want to dye suede, please read the instructions for suede dyeing. In addition to the dye, you need ROC Fortynder - Leather Dye Thinner for suede dyeing.
Especially for fine and soft leathers - and much more
This leather dye is particularly suitable for soft and fine smooth leathers. It preserves the natural aniline look of the leather.
But it can be also be used for wood working (e.g. pipes), dried flowers, toys and eggshell painting (blown-out eggs).
Dyeing of suede
Mix this leather dye with 25% of ROC Fortynder - Leather Dye Thinner and you will obtain an excellent strongly pigmented suede dye. Perfect for dyeing, refreshing and re-deying of suede, nubuck and rough leathers.
Do not clean the leather before dyeing. Just remove dirt and dust gently e.g. with a Crepe-Rubber Brush.
Please be aware that ROC Leather Dye penetrates the leather very easily and can also dye the inside of the leather if you use too much of it.
As soon as the dye has dried you should brush the nap and protect the colour and leather with a good impregnating product.
Can I mix ROC Leather Dyes?
All ROC Leather Dyes are cross mixable and can very easily be thinned. It's an alcohol-based dye and with the ROC Fortynder - Leather Dye Thinner all colour tones can be lightened up.
From the basic tones (yellow, red, blue and black) you can mix virtually all colour tones.
Example: yellow plus red is orange, red and blue = lilac, with blue and yellow you get green or turquoise, etc.
ROC Leather Dyes are provided with an applicator-brush in the lid.
For professional dyeing we recommend the use of a Wool-Dauber or a Leathercraft Sponge.
Please remember that you need to dye at least twice for a streak free and perfect surface.
You can only dye the same tone or a darker tone.
And after dyeing?
A dye always needs a finish. You can use leather grease for that purpose or pick a special finish from our vast range of Leather Finishes - e.g. Acrylic Resolene, Leather Sheen or Carnauba Wax
Tip:
For best dyeing results the manufacturer recommends to add approx. 3 - 10% ROC Gold Quality Strong Cleaner proportionately to the leather dye. This will enable the dye to penetrate the leather faster and more deeply.
Please fill the Cleaner into the bottle (e.g. with a syringe from the pharmacy) and shake well so that the leather dye mixes with the Cleaner.

How much leather dye do I need?
We can't answer that question 100% as we do not know your shoes, boots, saddles, jackets, bags etc. and do not know how dye hungry your leather is either. Different leathers (old or new plays a role too) absorb different amounts of liquid.

That sounds complicated - but it is not!
This leather dye is used for undyed and untreated vegetable tanned leather in leather craft.
It may not be suitable for treated leather of factory made bags, purses, table tops, car seats, leather furniture, leather clothing, etc. as most of the time these items are pre-dyed and have a protective coating that will prevent the dye from penetrating.
That is why we recommend you make a test beforehand to find out whether the dye is suitable for pre-treated or chrome-tanned leather:
• Cleanse the leather you want to dye thoroughly with a leather cleansing product and place a drop of water on it (rubbing a little).
• If the leather absorbs water, the dye may be suitable.
• Please note that we cannot guarantee for the result if your leather is not vegetable tanned. We recommend you contact the manufacturer for further information.
Always test the dye on an inconspicuous spot or an a small piece of leather scrap for suitability before going for a whole project.

Sehr zufrieden
Ich hatte vor ca. 2 Jahren bei Ihnen 3 versch. Rot - Töne und eine Versiegelung bestellt. Ich war und bin sehr zufrieden und wollte nur mal eine positive Rückmeldung abgeben. Am letzten Wochenende habe ich sogar mein Lenkrad mit den Farben aufgefrischt und am Schluss mit der "Leather Sheen" Versiegelung behandelt. Das Resultat ist kaum zu glauben und das "Leather Sheen" ist der absolute Hammer !!! werde ich weiterempfehlen.

Very good colours
I use these dyes for dyeing calf for bookbinding. Much better coverage than eco-flow. I will only use ROC dyes from now on

Sehr schnelle Lieferung und sehr gute Qualität des Produkts
Die Lieferung des Bestellten ROC Denmark Leather Dye erfolgte extrem schnell. Die Qualität des Leather Dye (Mahagoni) ist sehr gut. Ich habe zum ersten Mal eine Messerscheide durchgefärbt und das Ergebnis ist beeindruckend.

Reine Farben
Die ROC Lederfarben sind nicht nur sehr ergiebig, es gibt im Sortiment auch Primärfarben. Das Blau ist blau und nicht violett - das Rot ist rot und nicht rosa. Damit lässt sich perfekt mischen und man erhält die Farbe die man benötigt. Das können andere Lederfarben nicht von sich behaupten!

Nubukleder färben und auffrischen
Ich war über das positive Ergenis des Färbemittels überrascht. Mit meinem Motorradanzug habe ich schon viele Mittel ausprobiert, aber jetzt erst das Richtige gefunden. Dieses Färbemittel zur Auffrischung von Nubukleder kann ich gerne weiterempfehlen. Die Beschreibung zur Anwendung passt genau und die Bestellung lief reibungslos so wie man es sich vorstellt. Gerne wieder.

Kauf verschiedener Lederfarben
Ich habe vor kurzem 3 verschiedene Lederfarbtöne u. Versiegelung bei Patin-A bestellt. Die Preise waren besser als bei der Konkurrenz und die Auswahl auch größer. Die Lieferung erfolgte trotz der Feiertage superschnell und alles war top verpackt. Auch noch nette Gummibären waren drin ;) Habe nur kurz die Farben getestet und werde in Ruhe über den Winter mein Autoleder damit bearbeiten. Sehr zufrieden.

Guter Service, tolle Farbe
Ich habe mit der ROC Lederfarbe zwei ausgebleichte Sofas aufgefrischt. Um nahe an den Original-Ton zu kommen, habe ich schwarze und blaue Farbe gemischt und so ein tolles Schwarz-Blau bekommen. Die Sofas sehen wieder aus wie neu.

Schnelle Lieferung, top Produkt
Die Lederfarbe funktioniert hervorragend, meine Lederjacke sieht aus wie neu. Auch mit der Pflege bin ich sehr zufrieden!

Roc Lederfarbe braun und blau, Roc starker Lederreiniger Gold
Habe ein Paar blaue Velourslederschuhe, welche versehentlich durch eine chlorhaltige Lösung stellenweise entfärbt wurden mit Lederreiniger Gold vorbehandelt, danach mit leicht verdünnter Roc Lederfarbe neu eingefärbt, das Ergebnis ist richtig toll, die Farbe der Schuhe ist leicht verändert zu vorher, mein Mann meinte dass sie besser aussehen.Danach noch eine teure dunkelbraune Handtasche aus Glattleder, die durch Alter Abnutzungsspuren und kleine Kratzer auf der Oberfläche hatte, mir jedoch viel zu schade zum Entsorgen war gleichermaßen ( wieder Vorverhandlung mit dem Lederreiniger, danach Färbung mit brauner Lederfarbe, das Verdünnungsverhältnis steht jeweils auf den Produkten) das Ergebnis ist wieder super, die Tasche kann ich wieder aus dem Haus lassen.Die Schuhe nach dem Trocknen noch mit Velourspflegespray und die Tasche mit Bienenwachs behandelt (beides noch aus meinem Bestand).Fazit insgesamt : die Roc Produkte sind Klasse, der Preis stimmt, es war auf jeden Fall den Versuch wert, habe weiter Freude an meinen Sachen und muss sie nicht wegwerfen.Der Versand ging auch superschnell, hat gerade mal 2 Tage gedauert.
