This shirt hanger from Cortec is 43 cm wide and perfect for women's shirts, dresses or slim-fit men's shirts. Thanks to the notch on the top, you can also hang skirts or tops on them with ease.
Our plastic clothes hangers are made in Germany from recycled MIPS plastic and therefore have a good carbon footprint. The MIPS regenerated material (medium impact polystyrene) also comes from Germany.
What does this mean for the environment?
Compared to standard plastic hangers from various suppliers, our recycled hangers save up to 64% CO2.
The product consists of 99% MIPS Regenerat (medium impact polystyrene) and 1% dye. Regional production in Germany means short transport routes and therefore significant CO2 savings (no long air or sea freight).
Even the Regenerat material is produced directly at Cortec's German factory. Sorted out, used clothes hangers are ground down and the resulting plastic or bioplastic is then reused to manufacture new products. In this process, the ground material is processed into granulate, which is moulded by injection into new clothes hangers.
