This shirt hanger from Cortec with a width of 47cm is perfect for men's shirts, shirts or jackets. Thanks to the notch on the top, you can also easily hang skirts or tops on it.
Our plastic clothes hangers are made from recycled MIPS plastic in Germany and therefore have a good CO2 balance. The MIPS regenerated material (Polystyrol mittelschlagfest) also comes from Germany.
What does this mean for the environment?
Compared to standard plastic hangers from various suppliers, our recycled hangers save up to 64% CO2.
The product consists of 99% MIPS Regenerat (polystyrene with medium impact strength) and 1% dye. Regional production in Germany means short transport routes and therefore significant CO2 savings (no long air or sea freight).
Even the Regenerat material is produced directly at Cortec's German factory. Sorted out, used clothes hangers are ground down and the resulting plastic or bioplastic is then reused to manufacture new products. In this process, the ground material is processed into granulate, which is moulded by injection into new clothes hangers.
