A softer touch with the rawhide mallet
Even a robust and solid mallet can be gentle to the material.
This mallet with wooden handle is made of water buffalo rawhide. The rolled up water buffalo rawhide reduces the impact of the mallet and so the ‚striked’ tool or material will not be damaged.
We have this embossing mallet in four different sizes.

This embossing mallet is the right choice for jobs where the mallet comes into direct contact with the material. The hide is much softer then an ordinary metal hammer, and that allows for better power transmission. It has softer touch so that the material will not be spoilt.
