Use the POWDER-PACKs for fast and easy distressing
The PATIN-POWDER-PACKs are your first choice when it has to go quickly and you want to distress right on the object.
You can either dab the little powder pouches right on the costume or object to achieve a distressing effect or spread the powder with your hands for distressing 'by hand'. But no matter how you patinate, you should always wear fabric gloves (e.g. cotton gloves) for working.
A little tip: it is easier to work the pigments in on hard to reach spots like creases and seams with an oily cloth.
Please note for application
We recommend that you always wear a dust mask while working with our PATIN-A powders. Although the colour pigments are contained in a little pouch, the fine dust can still easily be breathed in. Protect yourself with a mask.
The advantage of the loose PATIN-POWDER is that it is very convenient for dusting large areas with a powder duster.
