Painting, dyeing and re-dyeing with Fiebing's acrylic leather dye
Fiebing's Acrylic Dye (acrylic-based leather dye) is an opaque dye (highly covering) for dyeing smooth leather or re-dyeing leather that has already been dyed. You can use it, for example, to dye dark leather a lighter colour.
In addition, the leather dye is used for all kinds of paintings on smooth leather.
On the leather it forms a closed coating and is fully flexible. This is important so that it follows every movement of the leather.

A wide choice of colours by mixing
You can very easily mix the individual leather dyes with each other to obtain new shades.
Example: red mixed with blue makes violet, add a little white and you get purple and with even more white you get a beautiful lavender shade.
Do I have to pre-treat the leather?
As with any other leather dye, the leather must also be pre-treated for acrylic leather dye. Before dyeing, grease and finishes must be removed from the surface.
The best way to do this is with Fiebing's Deglazer or PURE 100% Alc.
Sealing Fiebing's leather dyes
As a finish we recommend Fiebing's Acrylic Resolene (Resolene lacquer). This is a water-repellent special finish for your leather work.
When dry, the finish produces a mild gloss and seals Fiebing's leather dyes particularly well.

Fiebing's Acrylic Dye: Instructions
Preparation
As with any other leather dye, the leather must be pre-treated. Before dyeing, remove grease and finishes from the surface, ideally with Fiebing's Deglazer or PURE 100% Alc. Test the dye on a hidden spot or on a piece of scrap leather before you start.
Mixing colours
The individual colours can be mixed with each other very easily. Red mixed with blue makes violet, add a little white and you get purple, and with even more white you get a lavender shade.
Dyeing and painting
Fiebing's Acrylic Dye is an opaque dye. It dyes smooth leather a new colour or re-dyes it lighter and is suitable for paintings on smooth leather. On the leather it forms a closed, fully flexible coating. The dye is very economical.
Sealing
As a finish we recommend Fiebing's Acrylic Resolene. When dry, it produces a mild gloss and is water-repellent.
Safety
Wear protective gloves and eye protection. In case of eye contact, rinse cautiously with water for several minutes and remove contact lenses. The dye must not get into the hands of children.

Can I dye dark leather lighter?
Yes. Acrylic Dye is a highly covering dye with which you can dye smooth leather a new colour or re-dye leather that has already been dyed, including dark leather, in a lighter colour.

Das Lederfärbemittel hat gut gedeckt, schnelle Lieferung, gerne wieder.

Sehr gute Lederfarbe - Empfehlung!
Habe sowohl die Fiebing's Leather Dye Glatt-Lederfarbe als auch die Fiebing's Acrylfarbe zum Schuhefärben verwendet. Beide Produkte sind sehr gut und liefern ein optimales Färbeergebnis. Allerdings weichen die realen Farbtöne etwas von denen am Bildschirm ab. Tests an einem Probierstück sollten unbedingt vorher gemacht werden.

Perfekt
Ich habe mich direkt an einem großen Projekt versucht. Das Sofa. Am Anfang dachte ich "ohje ob die Farbe wirklich deckt. Und ob das wirklich so wird wie man es sich vorstellt." Aber nach nur wenigen Minuten war ich mehr als begeistert und würde es zu jeder Zeit wieder verwenden und empfehlen. Vielen Dank ?

Ottima Qualità
Sono molto soddisfatto di questo prodotto. Uso i colori Fiebing's per motivi professionali. I colori sono molto coprenti e quindi basta poco prodotto per coprire una sezione più ampia.

Lederfärben
Diese Farbe ist ausgezeichnet. Ich habe damit schon mehrere Schuhe lackiert und bin vom Ergebnis immer begeistert. Die Farbe ist sehr elastisch und auch die Lederstruktur bleibt erhalten.

Schnelle Lieferung, Färben hat super gut geklappt
Nach wenigen Tagen war meine Lederfarbe da und hat meine alten Schuhe in "neue" Prachtexemplare verwandelt.
Die Farbe ist sehr gut deckend und sehr elastisch.
