The Sneaker Series of Neopaque textile and leather paints
Jacquard Neopaque Sneaker Series are super opaque paints with maximum coverage on virtually any dark and light ground.
They're identical to the current collections of the most famous sneaker manufacturers. The colour palette is extremely appealing - not only for sports shoes!
Professional sneaker artists use Neopaque for its outstanding durability and adhesion - not only on fabrics - it does not tear, flake or crack - even with continuous wear.
Neopaque is exceptionally washfast on fabric and durable on a great number of surfaces, such as leather, vinyle, canvas, plastic, foam, Worbla and rubber.
How do I use Neopaque Paints?
Jacquard Neopaque can be applied with paintbrushes, stamps, pads, wash bottles and the airbrush.
You should clean brushes and other painting tools immediately in warm water after use.
If you use a hair dryer or professional hot air dryer for drying then be careful not to burn the paints.
The best thinner for Neopaque Paints is Neopaque Extender. The more you add the more transparent the colour will be. The advantage of extender over water is that the structure and adhesion of the paint will not be reduced.
For use with an airbrush thin the paint with up to 25% of water. We also offer perfectly mixed Jacquard Airbrush Paints in many different colours, pigmentations and brightness.
How do I fix Lumiere paints?
Neopaque, Lumiere and Airbrush paints are all „self-fixing" paints. If you leave the painted items for approx. 4 days, they harden and can then be washed.
This applies to most surfaces. It can take longer for completely non-porous surfaces such as plastic, because the paint does not dry as quickly and takes longer to harden, but it is usually much more durable after 10 days.
This process can be accelerated by heat, i.e. ironing or using a heat gun, as soon as the paint is completely dry.
If you want to paint shoes or other surfaces under heavy usage, you should always apply a top finish to protect the paint.
We recommend the finishes by Liquid Kicks, as they are highly elastic.
Which materials can be painted or dyed with Jacquard Neopaque?

Fixation of fabric paints
Note: When following these instructions, please note that these are only general guidelines.
You can use them in conjunction with the individual manufacturer’s instructions that are included with the various fabric dyes.
Drying time before fixing:
For best results, allow the painted or printed fabric to dry thoroughly for at least half an hour. We have found that air curing before heat curing (up to 2 weeks!) for as long as possible in a warm and dry environment gives the best results.
For faster drying, place the fabric under a lamp and then heat-set. Heat-setting holds the dye in the fibres and allows normal washing.
Tumble dryer
We do not generally recommend home tumble dryers as most do not get hot enough. Commercial dryers set at a minimum temperature of 250° for 45 minutes should be sufficient. Be sure to preheat the dryer.
Fixing with an iron
When heating with an iron it is important to note that temperatures vary from iron to iron. When using an iron, preheat it to a maximum temperature that is safe for the fabric. Place an aluminium foil on the ironing board and turn the painted side of the fabric downwards. Press the iron for at least 15-25 seconds on the back of the fabric and only then move on with the iron.
Alternatively, you can use an ironing cloth if you feel the need to iron directly on the painted side. Repeat the process without the ironing cloth on the non-painted side at the highest temperature suitable for your fabric (note: a longer air curing time, 5-7 days, is recommended with this method).
For professionals only:
Using a commercial conveyor belt oven: 350° for 3 minutes, two passes if necessary. The fabric should be hot to the touch to set the colours.
NOTE: The optimum time and temperature required for proper curing will depend on the fabric, the colour intensity, the finish and especially on the instructions of the various dye manufacturers.
Please do not try in your oven at home!

Top!
Kaufte bisher die Sonderfarben in den USA und bin froh nun einen Händler in D gefunden zu haben. In Kombination mit den Airbrushfarben sind die Neopaque einfach unschlagbar. Macht bitte weiter so!

Snazzy
Used Miami and Gamma Blue to bring some much-needed pizzazz to an old pair of trainers. Genuinely look good as new after a coat of this. Also want to say that the delivery was so much quicker than expected - thank you!!!!!
