What is thermowood?
Thermowood is, more or less, "baked" wood.
The molecular structure of the wood changes through a kind of "baking" at high temperatures so that the wood sugar caramelises, making the pores close.
The heat gives the wood a noble, dark colour and it is then called 'thermowood'.
What is special about it: after exposure to heat, this wood can absorb no or only little moisture and becomes resistant.
Now it is ideal for all products from the bathroom to the sauna where wood is constantly exposed to high humidity.
