A really useful utensil when you work at the sewing machine and have to remove the pins from the pattern pieces:

Surprisingly useful?!?!?!
I'm so used to using normal pin cushions that I wasn't sure what to expect when a friend recommended me this magnetic one. But it's actually really handy, especially when time is short and you want minimum faff picking up pins. Pleasantly surprised by how much it's sped up my sewing projects!
