Clean leather effectively
Rapide Leather Wash is suitable as a washing machine detergent and also as a hand wash detergent for leather clothing. Leather Wash is highly concentrated and very economical.
Rapide Leather Wash not only cleans but also has a greasing effect on your leather and refreshes the original colour.
The detergent is suitable for smooth leather, suede and nubuck. But it is also very good for washing wool.
Use in the washing machine
• Please make sure to read the manufacturer's instructions on the care label in your clothing.
• Shake bottle well.
• Remainders of ordinary detergents should be removed beforehand (check the detergent compartment).
• Select a wool cycle and measure 50ml of leather detergent.
• Set the washing machine on 30ºC maximum.
• If you still see detergent remainders on the leather after washing, run an additional rinse cycle.
If your garment can be washed by hand only
• First shake bottle well.
• Use approx. 25 ml of Rapide Leather Wash per 10 litres of water.
• Immerse the material regularly during washing.
• Finally, rinse until the water looks clear again and the garment does not contain residues of the leather detergent any more.
Drying
Suede and Nubuck: The manufacturer recommends drying of these leathers preferably in a tumble dryer. However, we advise against this and recommend normal drying at room temperature. As a rule, leather should never be dried at high temperature or in the sun.
After drying, brush the leather with a suede brush so that the material becomes soft and supple again.
Wool and leather: Allow to dry horizontally or hanging at room temperature, turning and kneading it regularly.
We recommend an aftertreatment with a leather dressing so that the leather becomes soft again and is protected in the future.
