KAI Pro 9" Dressmaking Shears 23cm
Japanese shears - perfection in every detail
Forget about the usual heavy and often blunt tailor's scissors - here comes the future:
The 23cm long professional tailor's scissors (#7230) with extra sharp blades and large handles from the traditional manufacturer KAI in Japan.
These scissors fit extremely well in the hand and the ergonomically shaped handles allow comfortable working.
The blades are made of high quality carbon steel - this guarantees high resistance and long-lasting cutting performance.
The blades are drawn right through to the handles, ensuring high stability and a more precise cutting performance.
These "shorter" tailor's scissors are particularly popular with ladies' tailors.
The 7000 series by KAI
The 7000 series is the new generation of professional tailor's shears.
The blades of the 7000 series are made of 58±1 HRC hard AUS8A stainless steel with a strength of 3,7 to 4 mm.
The scissors have a matt finish and a patented "Duplex Interlock" adjusting screw. This allows a consistent tension setting.
The screw is specially heat treated and with a hardness of 45±1 HRC extremely robust.
In 2005 the 7000 series won the IF Design Award.
KAI - the traditional brand from Japan

Innovative techniques become the basis of high quality products, while preserving the ancient tradition.
From the design to the completion of each cutting tool, the focus is on developing perfect products.
Established in 1908 as a family business, KAI has developed into an internationally active company with its headquarters in Tokyo.
