The Jacquard Airbrush Color Metallic bring genuine metallic shine to the airbrush gun, from True Gold and Solar Gold to silver and copper.
Like all Jacquard Airbrush Color, they are ready to spray immediately, low-odour, water-based and do not clog the nozzle.
Originally developed for textiles, they hold flexibly and permanently on fabric, leather and many other surfaces.

What makes Jacquard Airbrush Color special?
They are liquid, water-based acrylic paints that can be sprayed without additives, even at low pressure. They dry only minimally at the nozzle tip and therefore do not clog. On fabric they stay soft and flexible and do not crack.
Nozzle and pressure
Undiluted, you can spray the colours from a nozzle size of 0.21 mm. For smaller nozzles, dilute with Jacquard Airbrush Clear Extender. Work in light, even layers and avoid oversaturating the surface.
Not only for the airbrush
The liquid colours are also suitable for pouring, splashing, marbling and for the brush.
Preparing surfaces
• Fabric: prewash, no fabric softener
• Leather: remove care products and grease with a leather cleaner
• Metal and plastic: sand lightly, prime bare metal if necessary
On hard surfaces, Jacquard Airbrush Clear Varnish protects the design permanently.
Fixing
On fabric, fix the colour after drying for 30 seconds with a dry iron at the appropriate setting. On hard surfaces a heat gun does the job. For fabrics that cannot tolerate heat, mix Jacquard Airfix into the colour. You will find all steps in the “Instructions” tab.

How to get very good results with Jacquard's Airbrush Color
Surface preparation:
All surfaces must be clean.
Fabrics must be washed, and dirt, wax, coatings and care products must be removed from leather.
Non-porous surfaces such as metal and plastic may need to be lightly sanded. Bare metal may require a primer.
For a long service life, the airbrush paint must be overcoated with a clear varnish on hard surfaces.
Application:
Apply in light, even layers. Avoid oversaturating the surface.
Use a pressure of approx. 40 psi, and the nozzle size should not be less than 0.5 mm.
The colours can be mixed with each other so that you can obtain a complete colour palette.
On hard surfaces you can fix the heat-resistant paint with a heat gun. On fabric, iron with a dry iron at the appropriate setting for 30 seconds to fix.
Varnishing instructions (optional): After the airbrush paint has dried completely, spray the clear varnish on in a thin, even layer. Repeat this (if desired) once the first layer has dried thoroughly.
Airbrush tips
• Before you start your airbrush work, check that all your equipment is working properly. Check whether the needle or nozzle is bent and replace it if necessary. Make sure the compressor is working correctly and the air pressure is set appropriately.
• Make sure you are using the correct nozzle size, especially with the metallic colours.
• Do not leave the colours unused in the airbrush for too long, so that the paint does not dry in the airbrush. Put caps on the bottles when not in use so that they do not dry out.
• Dilute the colours with water if you need a thinner colour.
• Be sure to clean your equipment thoroughly as soon as you have finished.
• Transparent colours work best on white and light surfaces.
• Opaque and metallic colours work on both light and dark surfaces.

Do I have to dilute the colour?
No, it is ready to spray. Undiluted, you can spray from a nozzle size of 0.21 mm. For smaller nozzles, dilute with Jacquard Airbrush Clear Extender.
Can I mix the series?
Yes, all Jacquard Airbrush Color can be mixed with each other, for example opaque with metallic colours.
How do I fix the colour on fabric?
After drying, iron for 30 seconds with a dry iron at the appropriate setting. For heat-sensitive fabrics, mix Jacquard Airfix into the colour.
Does the colour hold on leather and plastic?
Yes, if the surface is clean, free of grease and, in the case of plastic, lightly sanded. On hard surfaces, Jacquard Airbrush Clear Varnish protects the design.
Does the paint clog my airbrush gun?
Hardly, because it dries only minimally at the nozzle. Still, clean the gun thoroughly with water after every use.

Was für Wahnsinns Farben. Ich habe etliche Kostümteile mit den Metallicfarben gesprayt und war von dem ausgezeichneten Ergebnis überrascht. Ich werde weiterhin diese Airbrushfarben nutzen und jetzt auch die anderen Spezialfarben kaufen.
