Protect and seal leather soles
A silky finish for leather heels and leather soles of matt and shiny shoes. Very recommendable for sole edges too.
Fiebing's Sole & Heel Edge Dressing has been used for shoe care by pros for over 100 years already.
Use and recommandations
Fiebing's Sole & Heel Edge Dressing dyes leather soles, synthetic soles (& rubber) and heels.
After treatment, the dyed parts will become water resistant.
The finish is very stable and does not rub off nor does it tend to flaking off.
Fiebing's writes that a high gloss finish will be achieved. That's not correct - it is rather matt to silkmatt.
If you need a very shiny finish, we recommend Kelly's Heel & Sole Edge Finish from our range.
Clean, apply, leave to dry
Clean heels and soles before painting.
Use the wooldauber provided in the lid or a paint brush for application.
Fiebing's Sole and Heel Edge Dressing dries in approx. 15 minutes.
After drying the coat is water resistant.
Avoid splashes
The dressing is very thin so make sure to cover the area where you are working with old newspapers for ex. You will avoid splashes and drops on furniture and carpets.
