Hi-Liter by Fiebing's - a two-in-one product
Fiebing's Hi-Liter dyes smooth leathers in a warm, light shade of brown, producing at the same time a dark brown tone in cuts and embossings.
Hi-Liter gives maximum contrast to carved leather.
Hi-Liter is a leather colour and Antique Finish in one single product. It allows you to create embossings fast and easy.
Fiebing's Hi-Liter produces a shiny brown tone on natural smooth leather.
Pros and beginners can easily create embossings
Apply Hi-Liter with a damp sponge and rub it deep into cuts and embossings.
Remove the extra colour with a damp sponge.
If you wish, you can apply your final favourite finish after drying (for instance Fiebing's Acrylic Resolene).
Light surface, dark impressions
If you only wish to darken impressions (the surface remaining light) then you should apply two layers of 'Fiebing's Resolene Finish' on your leather work and allow to dry for at least 24 hours.
This is very important to prevent streaking and cracking.
Before using Resolene, you can of course dye the leather with leather dyes!
Only after this you apply Hi-Liter and rub the extra colour off the surface with a soft cloth or paper towel until completely removed.

Ich punziere Gürtel und Armbänder. Mit Hi-Liter erhalte ich superschnell wunderschöne Effekte und habe gleichzeitig einen Schutz auf dem Leder. Meine Kunden lieben diese schönen Reliefs und ich die Zeitersparnis! ;-)
