Fiebing's 100% Pure Neatsfoot Oil - the pure neatsfoot oil
Neatsfoot oil is very popular for preserving leather and making it soft and waterproof. The oil lubricates and restores the suppleness of the leather. Car restorers use 100% Pure Neatsfoot Oil to make saddlebags and car seats that have become hard soft and supple again.

Applying neatsfoot oil - patience is required
1. Pour a small amount of oil into a container, for example a tin can. Dip a sponge or cloth into the oil and work the leather with it in circular movements.
2. On the first application, the oil soaks in quickly and the treated area looks dark, blotchy and uneven. Don't panic!
3. Cover the first coat of oil with a second one. Lighter areas become visible that could use a little more oil.
4. Once it has soaked in, the oil looks more even.
5. After 24 hours the leather lightens and finally takes on the colour it will have at the end of the treatment.
Tips for professionals
A small amount of Neatsfoot Oil goes a long way. Please do not use too much, as it would do more harm than good. The piece of leather should not "drown" in oil and thereby become "lifeless", because dirt could get into the open pores and oil could sweat out in the sun. It is best to practise oiling on leather scraps first.
Please note
The leather becomes slightly darker through treatment with the neatsfoot oil.
This oil should not be used on suede and nubuck.

Ordered fiebings 946 ml neatsfoot oil
On Wednesday, 16th February. I ordered fiebings neatsfoot oil (946 ml bottle)
I Paid 25.79 for the oil, and 11.90 (i think?) for shipping to Ireland, (37.69 total)
I received it 22nd February, 7 days later!
in a small cardboard box, the bottle itself was wrapped up with brown paper,
At the bottom there was an envelope containing a printed invoice, and a business card. Surprisingly enough There was even some goodies (candies) added in too: 2 tiny packets of haribo gummies,
1 haribo liquorice coil, and 2 "RITTERSPORT", (a "joghurt" one, and a "marzipan" one, haven't tried either yet)
Yeah, more than i was expecting in the box!
About the neatsfoot oil, when i first opened it, it was "solidified", but it melts pretty easily, kinda like goose/duck fat in a sense, it's a bit smelly too, not gonna lie!
I never give 10 out of 10, because i'm never fully happy, not even right now, but i feel this place still deserves it anyway, What is there to complain about anyway?
I received my order in 7 days from Germany to Ireland...
... And i got goodies in the box too!
Will probably order from this site again.

Tolles Produkt
Hab vor einem Jahr angefangen mal immer wieder Teile meiner Lieblings-Lederklamotten mit dem Öl zu behandeln. Man braucht echt nicht viel davon und alles sieht aus wie neu und wird butterweich. Super Produkt!

Extrem weiches Leder
Neatsfoot Oil nutze ich zur Pflege meiner Lederstücke. Alles wird sehr weich und geschmeidig. Man sieht richtig wie das Leder auflebt.
Die Qualität von Fiebings Neatsfoot Oil ist hervorragend!
