Environmentally friendly: 42 cm jacket hangers made from meadow grass
The jacket or coat hangers with a width of 42 cm are ideal for women's jackets, sweaters, coats, suits, trouser suits and all larger items of clothing. Thanks to the notch on the top, you can also hang skirts, dresses or tops with ease.
These grass clothes hangers are ecologically valuable as they are made from natural fibers and recycled PP plastic. The grass fibers used come from Germany.
This hanger from Cortec is just as stable as a classic plastic hanger.
What does this mean for the environment?
Compared to a regular plastic clothes hanger, the grass hanger saves up to 64% CO2.
The product consists of 50% grass fibers (from German organic pasture grass) and is also manufactured in Germany. It therefore has no long transportation routes (e.g. from Asia).
The plastic content consists of 100% recycled polypropylene, which also comes from the region. This combination of materials is in turn very easy to recycle.
Conventional clothes hangers are made of polystyrene and are very difficult to recycle.
