The pure & highly transparent Jacquard Dye-Na-Flow paint
Dye-Na-Flow is a pure, highly pigmented highly transparent liquid fabric paint. Dye-Na-Flow is perfect on nearly all surfaces: fabric, leather, wood - any porous or semi-porous surface, including natural and synthetic fabrics.
In many ways it simulates a real textile dye: Dye-Na-Flow spreads on the fabric until it is completely and evenly absorbed. It penetrates the fibers like a dye, instead of clinging to the surface like thick paint or ink.
The colours are splendid and washfast and do not alter the feel of the fabric, which makes Dye-Na-Flow a high-performance tool when real textile dyes are not practical. Dye-Na-Flow is a uniquely versatile liquid acrylate that can be used for a wide range of applications: from silk painting to wood staining.

Special features of Dye-Na-Flow
Jacquard Dye-Na-Flow Fabric Paint is a freely running, concentrated liquid dye for use on all untreated fabrics.
The paints can easily be thinned with water.
The structure of the fabric is not altered - there are no hard spots, no flaking, no bleeding of the dye!
Whether with brush, swab, sponge or airbrush - this dye is incredibly versatile and easy to use. Brush and sponges can be easily washed out with water.
What do I have to keep in mind when dyeing suede?
Dyeing suede with Dye-Na-Flow is easily possible. The result is excellent, as the dye is highly pigmented and penetrates nicely into the leather.
However suede, in contrast to artificial or smooth leather, cannot be provided with a protective coating. It cannot be heat set with an iron or hair dryer either.
But you can mix Jacquard Airfix into the dye and allow the dye to fix in the air while drying.
How do I fix Dye-Na-Flow?
Heat fixing:
• Let the paint dry completely.
• Then iron the motif inside out to fix Jacquard Dye-Na-Flow. This is how you proceed: lay the back of the pattern upwards. Cover the pattern with a cloth or baking sheet and iron for 3 minutes at the highest temperature permitted for the textile
• You can also fix the motif in the oven: set the gas oven on 1 and the electric oven on 140º C for 5 minutes.
• After fixing you should wash the textile with ordinary washing powder in cold water to remove the remaining colour and additives.
Air fixing:
Some materials do not tolerate heat but must still be washed or cannot be provided with a protective clear varnish (e.g. suede shoes).
Here a great product from Jacquard comes into play: Airfix - the permanent air fixing.
• Add 5ml of Jacquard Airfix per 95ml of fabric paint (or 3% of Airfix per 97% of dye).
You need only very little additive to make your colours air fixable, however you should use up the mixture within six hours.

Fixation of fabric paints
Note: When following these instructions, please note that these are only general guidelines. You can use them in conjunction with the individual manufacturer’s instructions that are included with the various fabric dyes.
Drying time before fixing:
For best results, allow the painted or printed fabric to dry thoroughly for at least half an hour. We have found that air curing before heat curing (up to 2 weeks!) for as long as possible in a warm and dry environment gives the best results. For faster drying, place the fabric under a lamp and then heat-set. Heat-setting holds the dye in the fibres and allows normal washing.
Tumble dryer
We do not generally recommend home tumble dryers as most do not get hot enough. Commercial dryers set at a minimum temperature of 250° for 45 minutes should be sufficient. Be sure to preheat the dryer.
Fixing with an iron
When heating with an iron it is important to note that temperatures vary from iron to iron. When using an iron, preheat it to a maximum temperature that is safe for the fabric. Place an aluminium foil on the ironing board and turn the painted side of the fabric downwards. Press the iron for at least 15-25 seconds on the back of the fabric and only then move on with the iron. Alternatively, you can use an ironing cloth if you feel the need to iron directly on the painted side. Repeat the process without the ironing cloth on the non-painted side at the highest temperature suitable for your fabric (note: a longer air curing time, 5-7 days, is recommended with this method).
For professionals only:
Using a commercial conveyor belt oven: 350° for 3 minutes, two passes if necessary. The fabric should be hot to the touch to set the colours. NOTE: The optimum time and temperature required for proper curing will depend on the fabric, the colour intensity, the finish and especially on the instructions of the various dye manufacturers. Please do not try in your oven at home!

Überarbeiten eines VITRA-CHAIR mit schwarzem Hopsak-Bezug
Das schwarze Netzgewebe aus 100% Polyamid war an einigen Stellen schon abgestoßen. Herr Knoll hatte zu einem Versuch mit Dye-Na-Flow plus Airfix geraten, aber konnte keine Garantie für das Gelingen abgeben. Obwohl diese Stofffarbe von dem Polyamidgewebe gut aufgenommen worden ist, ist das Ergebnis leider nicht excellent gelungen. Dennoch herzlichen Dank für den Versuch. Bi.

Very Happy customer
I ordered some products to test and see if we like them at our costume-departement. I tried Dynaflow instead of Sprila, that we normally use for fabrics in our distress-shop. So far it seems like a very good substitute-product. The shipping cost was fair and the delivery super-fast. I really recommend this shop and Will order again soon.

Hervorragende Ware und erstklassige Beratung
Ich hatte Fragen zu verschiedenen Projekten, wurde dazu hervorragend beraten, was funktioniert und was nicht und habe mich letztendlich zur Möbelrestaurierung (Samtsofa) für eine Textilfarbe entschieden, die die Weichheit des Materials erhält. Das Produkt ist sparsam in der Anwendung und somit überhaupt nicht teuer. Dabei hält es, was es verspricht. Somit konnte ich für wenig Geld ein hochwertiges Sofa retten statt ein neues zu kaufen. Die Beratung erfolgt auf Emails hin immer umgehend, so dass man meist spätestens nach einer halben Stunde weiß, wie man technisch vorgehen soll. Die Textilfarbe kann man übrigens ganz leicht mit jedem beliebigen Applikator / z.B. Schwamm auftragen, so dass alles ganz leicht zu handhaben ist. Fazit: persönliche direkte Beratung, wie vor Ort in einem Fachgeschäft - ein Service, den man aus guten alten Zeiten zu kennen glaubt (hier: noch besser). Wunderbare Ware. Ein Problemlöser. Gerne werde ich hier immer wieder kaufen.

Cliente chez Patina (très satisfaite) depuis quelques années, j'ai essayé ce nouveau produit sur de la toile et en suis absolument ravie. L'effet obtenu est superbe. On peut leur faire confiance, chez Patina. Ce n'est pas de la camelote, ce qu'ils vendent. Donc 10 points sans hésitation.

Phantastisch
Diese Farbe hat mich echt umgehauen. Sie dringt tief in den Stoff ein und man hat die Optik einer Färbefarbe - nur viel intensiver. Der Stoff bleibt weich und fühlt sich gut an. Unglaublich toll und ich kann sie wärmstens empfehlen ❤️❤️❤️
