Jacquard Airfix: fixing without an iron
Suede shoes, rubber soles, leather jackets, faux fur: some things simply cannot be ironed.
Yet the fabric paint should still last on them permanently and be washable.
The solution is called Jacquard Airfix. A few drops in the paint, and it fixes itself in the air as it dries.
No hot iron that ruins leather or rubber.
After 72 hours, the paint holds as well as after heat fixing.

When do I need Airfix?
Whenever a material cannot tolerate heat: suede, fabric and leather shoes with rubber soles, faux fur, coated fabrics and anything too large or bulky for the ironing board. Airfix works with all Jacquard fabric paints and also very well with DEKA PermFlow.
Important to know
Only mix as much as you will use within six hours, as the effect fades after that. Work in well-ventilated rooms and avoid skin contact.

Avoid breathing vapour or mist. Wear protective gloves. IF ON SKIN: Wash with plenty of water. If skin irritation or rash occurs: Get medical advice. Take off contaminated clothing and wash it before reuse. Dispose of contents and container in accordance with local regulations.

Jacquard Airfix: Instructions
Work in a well-ventilated room and wear gloves.
1. Add 5 ml of Airfix to 95 ml of fabric paint, which is 3%.
2. Stir well.
3. Paint or spray as usual. Use up the mixture within six hours.
4. Let the paint dry in the air. Do not iron.
5. After 72 hours, the paint is as firmly fixed as after heat fixing and can be washed.
6. Wash your hands and tools thoroughly with soap and water.

Which paints does Airfix work with?
With all water-based fabric paints that are normally fixed with an iron, for example Dye-Na-Flow, Neopaque, Lumiere, Textile Color, Airbrush Color and DEKA PermFlow.
How long does the mixture last?
About six hours. So only mix as much as you need right now.
When may I wash it?
After 72 hours in the air.
Can I also iron it?
That is not necessary. Airfix is intended precisely for materials that cannot tolerate heat.
