Since you have opted for a natural Saenger product and the Saenger hot water bottles do not contain artificial softeners but are made from air-dried rubber only, the manufacturer recommends to replace them at annual intervals (recommended by the British Standard Institute).

Geniale Erfindung!
Ich habe dieses Modell meiner Mutter geschenkt, da ich Angst hatte, daß sie sich beim Befüllen ihrer Wärmflasche die Hände verbrüht. Diese Wärmflasche mit Griff ist so genial - ich bin jetzt selbst ein großer Fan von ihr und besitze mittlerweile 2 Stück davon! Ich verstehe nicht, warum nicht alle Wärmflaschen solch einen Haltegriff besitzen? Was allerdings in Ihrem Sortiment fehlt ist ein schöner Bezug für diese Flasche.
